When tempted claim these victory verses, resist the devil and pray, depending solely on Jesus' power.
Ex 20:17 You shall not covet
2 Chron 15:7 But as for you, be
strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Ps 25:9 He guides the humble in what is right and
teaches them his way.
Ps 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom
shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?
Ps 27:3-5 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not
fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. One thing
I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the
Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek
him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his
dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon
a rock.
Ps 27:10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the
Lord will receive me.
Ps 28:7 The Lord is my strength
and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.
Ps 30:5 Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing
comes in the morning.
Ps 62:1-2 My soul finds rest in God alone; my
salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my
fortress, I will never be shaken.
Prov 3:5-8 Trust in the Lord
with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your
own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and
nourishment to your bones.

this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

is possible with God."
John 6:37 Whoever comes to me I
will never drive away.
John 8:44-45 He (The devil) was a murderer from the
beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies,
he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet
because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!
Rom 8:13 "For if you live according to the sinful
nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the
body, you will live."

to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it
to the full.
1 Cor 8:1-2 Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has
seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let
you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also
provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 Cor 10:31-32 So whether you eat or drink or whatever
you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Cor 1:9-11 But this happened
that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has
delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have
set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your
prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted
us in answer to the prayers of many.
2 Cor 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has
made, they are "Yes" in Christ.
2 Cor 1:21-22 Now it is God who
makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of
ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing
what is to come.
2 Cor 1:24 it is by faith you stand firm.
2 Cor 3:17-18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where
the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all
reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with
ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Cor 4:16-18 Therefore we do
not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being
renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an
eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen
is eternal.
2 Cor 10:4-6 The weapons we fight with are not the
weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish
strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up
against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it
obedient to Christ.

sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Christ.

suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Heb 4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a great high
priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold
firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable
to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every
way, just as we are - yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of
grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in
our time of need.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy
the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers
throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
