Hindrance 15: Lack of understanding Christ's atonement
1 Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins in his body on the
tree, so that we might die to sins and live for
righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." NIV
Notice the words "you have been". Too often we focus on what
is going to happen and do not take time to realize what has
already happened. Jesus bore our sins and our illnesses and
through "his wounds you have been healed." It does not say
you will be healed. The victory is complete and has already
happened!
