Home
base: I live in Lilongwe the Capital City of
Malawi. I was born a Muslim and
met my husband who is a Christian in 1994.
My family was totally against the idea
of me marrying him because they knew that one
day I will get converted.
Today I am glad I met this man as he has helped me to know
Jesus as my personal Saviour.
I was baptized in 1997 and has since been
faithful to my living God.
Experience: I have
been involved in different activities in my church like taking part
in prayer group activities, teaching both adult and children
classes etc. I love working with women and
have been a Women Ministries leader for
several years. Under this ministry we have
been able to reach out to a lot of needy
people by providing them with whatever support we can both
spiritually and physically. This has given me a chance to know
the challenges that a lot of women and
children face in their day to day life.
Through this experience I strongly feel that God has a plan for me as in
Jeremiah 29:11. I feel that their is a
calling for me to work with the widows in my
area who are unable to support their families. It
is my prayer that one day my god will open
doors for me to set up a centre, where these
widows and orphaned children can come and learn different skills that
will assist them to start up small businesses to support
themselves.
Above all, my wish is that the centre will be
a place where people who have lost hope and
regain their hope. Seeing what God has done
for me, I would also love to share with others
they joy of knowing Jesus.
I am so happy that I can be a part of this
prayer team, I know that it will give me an
opportunity to do unto others what other people did for me when I
needed God's intervention in my illness. I look forward to serving the
Lord and the needy together with you all. God bless you all my dear
friends.
