Mini-Sermons
Dearest Sister Lyn: I want you to know that as I opened the newsletter this morning, my eyes went straight to your mini-sermon! I must admit that I normally go to the praise reports and prayer requests first, but this morning - I was drawn right to your sermon! You see, the holy spirit has been whispering this very same thing to me all week! I have been at such peace! It's as though he led you to write this mini sermon just for me - to confirm what he had been whispering to my heart all week!
Praise the Lord! As I read this, I sat at my desk - tears
of joy just pouring down my face! It's only 8:30 a.m. and
I'm a mess!! (hehe) I'm at my desk at work and I cannot stop
praising the Lord!!!! You see, even as the Holy Spirit was
whispering to me, so was Satan, he kept saying, "If your God
loved you so much, why would he let this terrible
circumstance come back upon you???" Etc., etc. Anyway, the
Holy Spirit has definitely won out!! Praise God for using
you in such a way! You just don't know what this means to
me!!!! I wanted to tell you this personally, but I also
consider this to be a PRAISE REPORT!! If you will share this
with Rob, I'd like for him to print this in the next
newsletter as a praise report! "The LORD is faithful to all
his promises and loving toward all he has made." (Ps 145:13)
What a wonderful promise!!!

P. S. -- This mini-sermon was placed at random into the
newsletters weeks, if not months ago, and then it was moved
from newsletter to newsletter in order to accommodate
Easter, Passover, etc. . . What but the hand of God could
have placed it in the newsletter that Penny read just when
she needed it the most??? What an awesome God!!!
